World Book Day
World book Day is fast approaching and
Dublinia has made the papers The main aim of World Book Day is to
encourage children to explore the pleasure of books and reading by providing
them with an opportunity to have a book of their own.
This year the organizers
of World Book Day have chosen a book called ‘Milo and the Lost Warrior’, written
by Mary Arrigan a multi-award winning author.
It is about a boy
called Milo and his friend Shane, they are going on a school trip to Dublinia.
They bump into three Viking warriors who want to return to their time but they
need Milo’s help to do so. However they hit a few bumps along the way…..
So what did we do
to celebrate well we had all a busy day a fortnight ago when journalists and
photographers from different places came to Dublinia to mark the launch of
World Book Day 2014. We had lots and boys and girls running around the
place with cameras following them.
You could say it
gave us a chance to experience the celeb lifestyle so to speak!!
